Following their debut album "Hotel Texas", The Smith & Western Jury return with "Lucky Stars" — the second single from their upcoming new album. A raw and unflinching track about fear, uncertainty, and feeling lost in your own body.
Driven by a gritty, infectious hook, “Lucky Stars” hits hard and doesn’t let up. Written during a period of major health challenges, it captures the disorientation of being told to keep moving while quietly grappling with the unknown — “I’ll be counting all my lucky stars if I make it through the night.” It’s a search for something steady when everything feels like it’s slipping; a howl for survival in the dark.
To celebrate the release, the band will tour across VIC, NSW, SA & TAS.
Forged in the backrooms of Naarm/Melbourne, The Smith & Western Jury deliver a high-impact blend of driving rock and western twang. From Luliepalooza and Out On The Weekend to Queenscliff and Tamworth, and supporting heavyweights like Ella Hooper, Luca Brasi and Henry Wagons, their live show stomps, sweats, and leaves no one standing still.
