A super quick taster class that’s ideal as a fun outing for friends, or as a treat for you! Make your very own personalised silver charm!In just 2 hours, you’ll be guided through the process of heating and texturing metal, cutting and shaping with traditional jewellery tools.
You will practice on copper or brass to work out what texture you want to go with, or what words you want to stamp and then move on to sterling silver to create one (or two smaller) sterling silver charms. These could be a pendant that you make for you and your special someone, or a purrrfectly personalised name tag for your fur babies.
We have a range of beautifully pre-cut complex shapes to choose from, or you can cut your own shape if you opt to make only one charm.
All materials provided - including enough silver and a sturdy jump ring for pendants, or steel split rings for name tags. Extra items are available to purchase but in a 2 hour class this is really all you will have time for!
Kids aged 12 (or so) are welcome to attend the class, but any person under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an enrolled parent or caregiver.
Workshop fee $105, early bird $95 till 4 November.
