Lucid Express is the name of five young dreamers creating a stunning airy blend of shoegaze and indie pop amongst the skyscrapers, mountains, and packed alleyways of Hong Kong. The name itself is a modest mission statement of the band’s intent. Lucid in the poetic sense of something bright and radiant. The Lucid Express operates as the service to take the listener on a journey through the band’s color-soaked sounds. They released their self-titled debut album in 2021 via Brooklyn’s Kanine Records (Grizzly Bear, Surfer Blood) and followed it with an expanded re-release of their debut EP Floret, featuring remixes from For Tracy Hyde, Ringo Deathstarr, Yuck + more. They completed their first US national tour in 2022 and are their first UK/EU tour in 2023. They are joined by Letting Up Despite Great Faults.
