About this Event
Come celebrate the traditional Sankta Lucia on December 10th at St John's Wood Church.
During the darkest of nights, London Nordic Choir will be performing one of our most popular acapella programmes – Sankta Lucia – the shimmering candlelit Luciatåg-procession. With a mix of traditional folktunes and classical pieces, the musical journey will feature songs such as Gläns över sjö och strand, Det strålar en stjärna, and Silent Night.
Program
The evening will be centred around the unique Nordic midwinter celebration with its fabulous fusion of paganism, history & Christianity. Under the baton of Carina Einarson, this will be a glimmering revel in yuletide spirit with music from Scandiland, the British Isles and mainland Europe.

Doors open at 5.30 pm, please take your seats by 5.50 pm for the concert to commence.

Standard ticket, £25 + Eventbrite admin fee
The tickets for this concert are only refundable in the event that the concert is cancelled (due to government restrictions). The proceeds go to running the choir – helping us to continue the rehearsals/concerts and bring vocal music to the community).
