From the brackish backwaters of Suburban Ventura County in 1994 there arose a mighty little Gothic tidal wave of a band calling themselves Cinema Strange.Scrawling a three and a half album trajectory over the journal of California musical history, their wave launched them through and beyond the back alleys of Los Angeles, whence they found themselves washed ashore in Europe, with thousands of romanticizing black clad castle dwellers acclaiming their wondrous eccentricities. And then one day in 2024, after 8 years of sipping cappuccinos in Vienna amongst the pigeons, Cinema Strange frontman Lucas Lanthier proclaimed "I must return to my glorious homeland and loft my tenor above the waves and mountains once more!"
