Get ready for a tropical adventure during Luau Week! We’re bringing the islands to Family Learning Lab with a full week of volcano science, tropical art, hands-on crafts, and playful discovery.*NOT a drop off program.
This week’s projects include Fizzy Volcanoes and Mega Volcano experiments, where kids can explore exciting erupting reactions. Young explorers can dig for hidden treasures in our Island Treasure kinetic sand station, while older learners investigate the inside of a real pineapple through our Pineapple Investigation & Dissection lab.
Creative campers will make Flower Lei Necklaces, Pineapple Clay Keychains, and Beaded Sea Turtle crafts to take home. Our art projects include giant Tiki Masks on poster board, tropical sunset canvas paintings, ukulele-themed paintings, and a mixed media island scene.
On Friday, campers can join our Island Catapults STEAM Challenge, where they’ll design and test island-inspired launchers after a LEGO warm-up challenge.
All sessions are open to ages 4–12. Morning sessions are geared toward younger children and feature open play with our sensory play area, LEGO wall, and exploration stations with a science activity and craft. Afternoon sessions include guided activities led by our Camp Guide, with sensory play and LEGO access still available for children who prefer open-ended fun. Friday morning STEAM Camp begins with a LEGO build warm-up and transitions into a collaborative team challenge.
