For our March meeting, Jill will show us how to make hat bands.
Supplies:
6-9 oz leather strip 3” longer than the circumference of your head (supplied)

Tools:
Strap cutter (supplied)
Hole punch (supplied)
Cutting tool
Straight edge
Wing divider
Stylus
Painter’s tape
Clear packaging tape
Swivel knife
Largest and regular beveler
Backgrounding tool
Maul
Finishing Supplies:
Paint or stain of your choice
Applicator
Paint brush
Burnishing agent
Canvas or burnisher
1200 grit sandpaper
finishing agent of choice
Optional:
Small round edge punch
Southwest Buckle set
For our trading cards, the suggested theme this month is St. Patrick's Day, If you wish to participate, bring a trading card approx. 2.5" x 3.5" that you have created to trade with other members.
Our optional home project is to make something using the mystery braid (or any other type).
Also, for those wishing to become or remain members, it's always a good time to pay dues. If you're a first time member, your first month is free. If you decide to continue with us, it's a prorated fee - $2/month through December. Otherwise, it's $24 for the year or $45 for the family rate.
