Lieutenant General Leslie C. Smith, U.S. Army (Retired), who currently serves as Vice President for Leadership and Education at the Association of the United States Army. He is a nationally recognized leader and educator with decades of operational and strategic leadership experience, including service as Inspector General of the Army and senior commander across chemical, CBRN, EOD, and maneuver support organizations.
In his presentation, LTG Smith focuses on the enduring importance of leadership in building strong, effective teams. He shares practical insights on trust, cohesion, and specific leadership actions that strengthen teams and drive results. The talk draws from his forthcoming book, All the Difference: Six Leadership Actions to Bridge Perspectives, Strengthen Teams, and Create Value, scheduled for release on July 14.
