Come see an intimate operformance by local lo-fi chamber ensemble, LSV Trio. This special performance, hosted by local literature-curating-art-supporting-independent-business Lostintheletters, will also feature live visuals by Limbic Visions. This collective creates visual art in real time, improvised along to the music and projected for the audience to enjoy an audio-visual preformance that is unique every time.

LSV Trio

The sound of LSV Trio is the result of three unique voices conversing over a shared passion for classical chamber music, jazz, and the need to groove. The three-piece ensemble highlights the individual character of each member while delivering tightly-knit performances featuring original material and occasional arrangements ranging from jazz standards to bastardizations of recent releases from chart-topping pop artists. LSV features an unusual formation comprised of cellist Jordi Lara, percussion-vocoder/synth player Paul Stevens, and keyboard/synth-commander Matt Vu. The skills and tools these musicians bring together allows the ensemble to casually pass melodic and harmonic roles to each other mid-song, creating a constantly evolving – and limitless – soundscape. LSV Trio has performed and recorded in the Metro-Atlanta area since 2024, making their studio debut that same year with their three-track EP, "LSV Trio".

Limbic Visions

Limbic Visions is a mind-manifesting interpretation of the musical experience. Andrew Luvel, its projectionist, performs along with various musical acts in order to create an alchemical reaction of light and color from the notes created on stage. Limbic Visions is a modern homage to the light shows of the early ‘60s, using much of the same technology and techniques of that era.
