LRPC Junior Program — Monthly Reminder
A free, safety-first introduction to the shooting sports for youth ages 7–17.
📅 When: First Saturday of the month, October–April
🕐 Registration 12:30 PM | Program 1:00–3:30 PM
📍 Where: Lakeland Rifle & Pistol Club, 50-yard range — 2000 Lasso Lane, Lakeland, FL
💵 Cost: Free
Who can join: Youth 7–17, no experience needed. All participants start in Beginner before advancing.
Parent/Guardian requirement: A parent or guardian must stay on-site for the entire session.
What to expect:
✅ Safety comes first — always
✅ New Beginners observe first, then receive hands-on coaching with close supervision
✅ Experienced Beginners demonstrate safe procedures for newcomers
✅ Medals awarded for accuracy milestones — this is about growth, not competition
Provided: All firearms, ammunition, targets, and protective gear.
Families may bring their own eye/ear protection if preferred.
Led by NRA-certified instructors and LRPC volunteers, this program builds a steady foundation: safety → skill → confidence.
