About this Event

Getting started on a career in political theory often relies on insider knowledge. In order to broaden access to the discipline the London Political Theory Network is organising an afternoon of professionalisation discussions aimed at PhD and early career political theorists. Sessions will focus on journal publishing, book publishing and the job market. Join us for an afternoon of learning how to become a political theorist.


2:00-2.50pm Journal Publishing with Richard Bellamy (UCL) and Udit Bhatia (KCL)

3:00-3.50pm Book Publishing with Dominic Byatt (Oxford University Press) and Bruno Leipold (LSE)

4-4.50pm Job Market with Shuk Ying Chan (UCL) and Teresa Bejan (Oxford)

5pm Social Hour
