A group of citizens of Palm Beach County, Florida met on February 20, 2007 to form the Loxahatchee Battle Preservationists in order to preserve, enhance and protect the Second Seminole War Battlefield, presently known as the Loxahatchee River Battlefield Park, located in Jupiter, Florida. Additionally, their goal was to preserve, enhance and protect the associated cultural and historical resources located in Palm Beach County, Florida.The organization reenactors will be in Yesteryear Village on our 30th Celebration, September 18, 2021 interpreting the two significant battles that occurred in 1838.
