Hancock Library | Canberra, CT
The Lower Cotter Catchment is a gorgeous reserve located to the south west of Canberra. We'll be travelling to the reserve to help rangers from ACT Parks and Conservation disassemble a fence, while learning about erosion control methods used in the catchment to protect Canberra's water supply and conserve the natural environment.
We'll meet at the Hancock Library Carpark (near the Research School of Chemistry and Hancock Library on the ANU campus) at 8:45am to carpool to the event. We'll be onsite from 9:30am to 1pm, and will return to campus by 1:30pm.
No previous experience is required! Just bring sun protection, water, and wear sturdy shoes and comfortable clothing, and we'll supply tools, gloves and snacks!
RSVPs are essential for this event. Please sign up via QPay before 3pm on Friday the 27th of September.
If you have a car and are willing to help drive, that would be incredible! Please indicate this in your ticket response. If you sign up for a ticket and your plans change, please let us know by emailing [email protected] so we can confirm logistics.
See you there!!!
