Lowcountry PBK: Key Connections 2025

This year, the Lowcountry Phi Beta Kappa Association will host our Key Connections event on Saturday, October 18th, featuring a visit to the City Gallery with a talk from a staff curator. Afterwards, anyone who is interested can walk with us to the Vendue Rooftop bar for an early happy hour. Our program will be as follows:

City Gallery: 1:30 – 2:45 PM
Meet us at the City Gallery (34 Prioleau St), where a staff curator will orient us to the gallery’s current exhibition and be available for questions. Then, explore the gallery on your own or with fellow PBK members until it’s time for happy hour.

Happy Hour: 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM
After the gallery, we’ll walk over to the Vendue Rooftop (19 Vendue Range) for some socializing with other members. Lowcountry PBK will buy some shared appetizers for the group and one drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) per person. You are welcome to have more food and drink, but please plan to pay your own way for additional items.

Those who were initiated into PBK within the last five years may attend for free as our guests. For all other members and their guests, the cost is $30.

The Phi Beta Kappa Key Connections event series offers the opportunity for members to connect with one another in their local communities. Attending a Key Connections event is a great way for new members to network, for members who’ve recently moved to make friends in their new home, and for all members to connect with others who have a love of learning.
