Cooler weather has arrived to Central Texas. Must be time to Low-tech grow some Culinary Mushrooms. Lets put the recycled Mushroom Mycelium blocks to work and learn the many ways that happens in our diets and gardens.πβπ«πJoin Bastrop Botanical Gardens on Saturday, December 13th from 11am-1pm for a Low-Tech Mushroom Workshop. We will share a method to create your own Bucket Cultivation from recycled Mushroom blocks. We will also take a walk about to share the many ways they are used on the grounds of BBG. πβπ«π
Bring either a clean, drilled bucket, a laundry basket, or something with holes for the Mushrooms to grow thru. Drilled buckets will be available if needed too. The rest will be provided. Participation by Donation.
Join Central Texas Mycological Society (CTMS) for more information on how to participate in the Best Recycling Program around. Look to the CTMS YouTube channel information on the many ways to use the recycled Mushroom Mycelium blocks in your garden and soil projects.ππβπ«
