Loving Conflict: Deep Democracy & Counter Normative Ethics
An experiential workshop with Kai Cheng Thom, Lewis Deep Democracy Instructor & Somatic Sex Educator, and
Corinne Diachuk, Somatic Sex Educator & Wheel of Consent Facilitator.
Equivalent to Lewis Deep Democracy Level 1, with additional learning outcomes related to embodied ethics and Loving Justice.
As the world continues to move through enormous political, social, and environmental struggles, many of us are feeling the call: More than ever, we need counter-cultural communities centered on love, embodiment, healing, pleasure and liberation. However, building and tending to intentional communities comes with its own challenges, and one of the most difficult is holding space for conflict.
This course is for space holders, community builders and organizers, leaders in counter-normative or alternative communities, healing arts practitioners, and anyone else interested in transforming conflict in groups.
