The deeply emotive raw power that Aotearoa’s Loves Ugly Children brought to international fans throughout the 1990’s- is BACK!A hugely powerful force both live and recorded Loves Ugly Children were arguably the backbone of the underground emo/punk/shoegaze/grunge music scene in New Zealand.
Their drive, their energy, their focus - was and still is - pure strength and authenticity. Their output is truly a great case for music being healing; Today it feels like the timing couldn’t be more perfect for this reunion.
Reforming are original members, Simon Maclaren (vocals, guitar) and Floss Fleury (vocals, bass guitar), and Jason Young (vocals, drums)
Expect to hear all the songs you wanna hear and then some, but being a week night we promise to get started early enough!
