About this Event

Louisville takes care of its own — come build something lasting for California Park.

Join us for a hands-on community build day in the California neighborhood! Together, we'll construct a brand-new park bench and picnic table for California Park — furniture that stays right here in our neighborhood, built by the people who live here.

No carpentry experience needed. Whether you've never picked up a hammer or you build things every weekend, there's a job for you. Tools, materials, lunch, and drinks are all provided. Just show up ready to work and have a good time with your neighbors.

What we're building:

Park bench — a sturdy, lasting bench for the whole neighborhood to enjoyPicnic table — a full outdoor table for cookouts, games, and community gatherings
