Learn the art of print and dye with Instructor Amy Tucker! Learn how to create a naturally-dyed organic bandana and silk scarf using seasonal organic plant material. In this immersive journey into the artistry of eco-friendly textile design, you'll learn about the dye properties of select plants and trees and the impacts of the seasons and environment on plant color and chemical composition. Amy will demonstrate how to use flowers and leaves to transfer dyes and prints, as well as various bundle-dyeing techniques. For easy understanding, she'll show examples of the finished effects. At the end of the class, you'll have two beautiful creations to take home!
