We are thrilled to announce the first ever 'Love the Lesch' Community Festival! Love the Lesch fest is a FREE community festival celebrating the natural and cultural values of the Leschenault Estuary and the organisations working to protect it.
Mark your diaries and start booking in to these interactive workshops and presentations as they are bound to fill up! We’ve got:
- Walking on Boodja with Troy Bennell, a cultural walk on the Leschenault Estuary (ticket required, $20 cost)
- Homemade soil fertility made easy - Composting and Worm farms with Wink Lindsay (free, registration essential)
- Transform your garden into a haven for native wildlife with Mandy and Mike Bamford (free, registration essential)
- Waterwise gardening for a drying climate with Chris Ferreira (free, registration essential)
- How to help threatened cockatoos, with Dean Arthurell of Carnaby's Crusaders (free, registration essential)
- Guided estuary bird walks with Birdlife Bunbury (free, registration essential)
- PLUS all day information stalls, local food trucks, family friendly craft activities, live music, free face painting and much more!
