ABOUT THE PRESENTATION: The enchanting and effervescent ukulele chanteuse Janet Klein performs obscure, naughty and lovely tunes from the 1920’s and 1930’s. Together , Janet and her Los Angeles based band , The Parlor Boys” share spirited and inspired renditions of Tin Pan Alley, early hot jazz, vaudeville & ragtime and other early 20th Century rare gems performing at historic theaters in Hollywood and Los Angeles and other landmark venues and around the world. Janet has produced 12 CDs with her group since 1998. Their CD release “Living In Sin” was voted in the Top Ten Jazz and Pop Critic’s Award Poll of the Village Voice. Klein is well loved for her voice-over work in animation as “Miss Langtree” for Cartoon Network’s “Over the Garden Wall” and as “Tuber” in Adventure Time. Look out for Janet all around town, from downtown at the historic Orpheum Theater or the Art Deco Cicada Club to the Old Town Music Hall, El Segundo, Wiltern Theater, Castle Green, Warner Grand, Alex Theater etc.
On February 11th, 2026 Janet will share her passions in early 20 th century cultural history, artifacts and adventures in musical archeology.

ABOUT THE CLUB: Founded in 1925, the Los Angeles Breakfast Club still thrives with food, friendship, and fun. Our meetings are held in our clubhouse, Friendship Auditorium, located at 3201 Riverside Drive, near the corner of Los Feliz Boulevard, in Griffith Park. Best described as a variety show, attendees enjoy a catered breakfast, silly songs, club traditions, and an interesting presentation from a guest speaker.
TICKETS: Sales on labreakfastclub.com close 48 hours before breakfast. Non-members are $35 and Members receive a 34% discount when logged into their Membership Portal.
Please arrive between 6:45 - 7:00 AM sharp! Doors close at 7:15 AM. Your admission includes a buffet breakfast, enjoyment of our 100-year-old club traditions, plus a special presentation from our Speaker of the Week!
