Love? said the Commander is a duo from the ‘PhilaJersey’ area that embraces ‘maximal minimalism’ in order to create slow burning emo-folk that’ll make ya feel stuff. Kate Hall met Chris Bishop in the winter of 2018 via a Craigslist ad. Since then, they’ve released six EPs and several singles and played hundreds of live performances throughout the Northeast. Up next, their debut album, ‘Cast Away,’ will be released on July 24, 2024 and the pair will be celebrating with an album release show at The Fallser Club on Friday, July 26.Joshua Chase Miller is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based in Philadelphia that has established himself within the music scene both as a solo artist and member of the indie-folk band Former Belle. On Miller’s last offering “Mend,” he took a decisive step forward as a songwriter. WXPN’s The Key describes “Mend” as a collection of “soulful and serene songs, with delicate guitar and piano compositions as well as lush horns”. The five-track EP features contributions from members of the Brooklyn band San Fermin and was produced by San Fermin frontman Allen Tate. Josh has been hard at work writing new music and plans to release new songs in the fall of 2024.
