Love Sacramento: Chicks in Crisis

Chicks in Crisis is a pregnancy and parenting resource center that assists parents who are enrolled in school (high school, college, trade school) with baby/children's items for kids under 5 as long as family size is maintained. Their mission is to help families cross the finish line and provide services that help those who are trying to better their lives. They are also birth mother advisors and specialize in open adoptions - helping women of all ages who choose to place their babies in forever homes.

Volunteers will be helping with various tasks onsite at their property including yard clean up and weeding the lawn. Remember to wear loose fitting, breathable clothing, a sun protective hat, and no open toes shoes. If you have work or gardening gloves, be sure to bring them!
