Love poems are a monthly special edition where poets recite works of love, leading upto a love finale! If you are looking for a flirty evening of poetry and fun, this is the place to be!

PERFORMER DESCRIPTIONS

Alina

Born into an artist family, Alina has always been surrounded by various artforms. Whether it’s music, painting, literature or theater. Spoken word or performance art has been a way for her to fit into and understand the world around her and in return, to offer an explanation to the world. Alina was born in Germany, grew up on the Island of Cyprus and moved to the Netherlands 5 years ago, where she dabbles in the spoken word scene. Her work explores love in all its tragedy and melancholy.

Kevin

Kevin Groen is a behavioural change enthusiast & spoken word artist who doesn't shy away from exploring the uncomfortable. As an adopted South-Korean boy "identity" has always been an important theme throughout his life, but it took years before he discovered the purpose and words that would give meaning to his experience. Today he uses his voice to help his clients feel more alive, achieve sustainable behavioural change, and confront audiences with prejudices and unconscious biases you didn't even know you had.

Victoria

A burst of creativity over the past years created a new identity. Namely, Victoria Words. Victoria is a new artist, with respect for other artists. With a voice ready to be heard, who wishes that, through her art, creates an emotion for the audience. Victoria’s poems and stories explore the boundaries between reality and illusion, and invites the reader to question their own perceptions of the world around them. In addition to their writing, Victoria is an avid reader and lifelong learner, constantly seeking for new sources of inspiration and insight. Whether through poetry, prose, or other creative pursuits, Victoria is dedicated to using their talents to make a positive impact on the world

Nim

Nim writes Poetry and Fiction. Since he learned how to ride a bike, he discovered a new passion and hobby, screaming at tourists walking on the bike path.

Izzy Goessens

Izzy is an English speaking Dutch comedian who emerged onto the stand up scene about 2 years ago. Her comedy, self-described as: a bit delusional, a bit sassy but with friendly BSE (Big Sister Energy), won’t help you make sense of the world. This summer she has performed at the Boom Chicago Comedy Festival in Amsterdam and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Izzy regularly performs at comedy shows throughout Amsterdam and London
