Much more than just a bang-it-out garage rock band The Primevals hit it hard but behind the noise is a fine understanding of funk and soul. Also with hints of groove we have the hugely entertaining psychedelic grunge four-piece Opium Clippers. And opening up is ferocious fuzzed up garage disciples The Reverse Cowgirls, still trying to work out if they're country or western.
