Love, Me - A Self Love Event

In the spirit of celebrating love, don't forget about yourself. Come join us for an afternoon of energy work, art and dance!

Love, Me is a self love event hosted by Alexandria from Lux Aura and Nicole from Body Vitality.

In the spirit of celebrating and giving love, we created this event to focus on receiving love as well. Consider this event "pouring into your own cup".

Sometimes its easier to show other people love than showing ourselves some love. Sometimes it's easier to give than to receive, especially as women. Why is that?

This event is to remind ourselves that receiving love IS okay. It IS okay to say "yes" without feeling bad about it and it is okay to feel good about ourselves while doing so.

2:30-3:30 Alexandria will lead us in conversation, meditation, and journal prompts focused on receiving.

3:30-4:30 Will be reserved for the make and take craft, eating, talking, relaxing

4:30-5:30 Nicole will lead us in a sensual, fun and easy-to-follow dance class

Is this religion based?

No, we do not focus on religion. We will focus on yourself and anything talked about could be applied to anyones life.

What is sliding scale?

Sliding scale is a range set for payment. It is a "invest what you can" between the price range. We give this option because we don't want money to hold people back from attending our event. The idea is that we are able to cover costs, get paid for our time spent all while maintaining accessibility.

What do I wear for dance?

Honestly, anything you feel comfortable and cute in! From booty shorts and fishnet leggings to sweats - wear what you feel best in. Please note, the dance class will most likely have floor work. This means we will be on our knees during some choreo. Please consider bringing knee pads.

Is the dance class good for beginners?

Yes! This will be great for beginners. Nicole will only teach at the pace that the class needs. There is absolutely no expectations around the choreography. We hope you have fun and feel good in your body.

Will there be videos taken during the dance class?

The ONLY time dance will be recorded will be at the very end and this is only with consent. Nicole will ask before recording.

Are there any extra fees included in this event?

No, just the 1 time fee for the ticket.
