Love , Loss & Living Legacy - presented by Anna-Louise Haigh
About this Event
Introduction
Grief touches every aspect of our lives. While practical support and emotional care are essential following a bereavement, many people also find themselves asking deeper ‘bigger’ questions about life, love, connection, and what remains when someone they care about is no longer physically present.
Love, Loss & Living Legacy offers a gentle, reflective space for exploring these types of questions. Rather than presenting a particular belief system, the workshop invites participants to consider different perspectives on love, loss, legacy, and the possibility of ongoing connection, while honouring their own personal beliefs and experiences.
The intention is not to take grief away or provide unfathomable answers, but to o er comfort, reflection, and a sense of meaning during what can be a profoundly challenging time.
Gentle Aims
This workshop aims to:
• Create a safe and supportive space for reflection and conversation.
• Explore the role that love, meaning and connection when considering “Who am I without their loved one” (This is a very gentle element which is sensitive to the individuals in the group)
• When and where appropriate - Introduce di erent perspectives on the soul, legacy and continuing bonds.
• Encourage participants to recognise the gifts, values and wisdom left behind by those they have loved.
• Oer practical ways to honour and carry forward a loved one's influence in everyday life.
• Provide a sense of hope, comfort and connection without diminishing the reality of grief.
