Love Isn't Blind: Matzah Ball Edition

Hit live comedy/dating show Love Isn't Blind (LA Magazine, The Tamron Hall Show, California Live, & more) is partnering with Temple Beth Israel of Highland Park for a very special, X-mas eve, Jewish edition of the show!* If you're in town for the holidays, this will be the thing to do on Christmas Eve - and yes we will be rolling out a Chinese food buffet the moment the show ends. All ticket prices include dinner.

*Everyone is welcome to participate in the timeless tradition of chinese food & a movie (but in this case: a show).

Tired of swiping? In this dating experiment, men compete on stage for one lucky bachelorette, with the little caveat that the men can't speak. Through a series of games - which includes calling the boys' moms and unlocking their phones - we narrow it down to two men. Finally, we hear their voices, and the lucky winning man is sent with our bachelorette to the bar for an immediate date. Audience members wear wristbands according to their relationship status, and a wingpeople (who wears actual wings) help those of you who are too shy to make a move.

TBI is housed in its historic Highland Park shul, the oldest continually operating synagogue building in Los Angeles, with a daily minyan and Shabbat services every Friday night and Saturday morning. From Torah on Tap, our weekly class on the Torah portion at one of Figueroa’s coolest bars, to its thriving religious school, we are eager to open our doors to you – and we love hosting Love Isn’t Blind!
