Love is Blind, A Speed Dating Event

Dating can be exhausting, not to mention nerve racking 99% of the time! What if you could meet someone and get to know them all WITHOUT having to sit right across from them on a awkward date your best friend set you up with!? Love is Blind is a twist on your traditional speed dating event, where guests will be partnered up with others of the opposite sex but in VIRTUAL REALITY! Each guest will be able to "see" the other persons virtual avatar and hear them as they play a series of mini games together in VR; all while having light-hearted conversation but never seeing the REAL person until after the event. Guests will also be equipped with ice breaker questions to help get the conversation started! Join us February 9th and add some F.U.N. back into your dating life, but remember, love IS often times blind!

Additional Details:

• First interaction you will have with the other person is in VR to break the ice. Guys will be placed upstairs in our mezzanine, while the ladies will be on the main level.
• Guests will have 7 Mins per round. Guys will rotate headsets while the ladies remain stationary. After each round guests will have 2 mins to make notes of their interaction to remember after all rotations have finished.
• Guests will play a fun, easy game in Virtual Reality while chatting and learning about one another.
• Sign-ups include 1 cocktail or mocktail (post dates)
• Once all the dates have taken place, participants can select the people they’d like to meet again (either confidentially on the night via a form or later online). If two speed daters have expressed a mutual interest in each other, they receive each other’s email addresses or phone numbers based on preference.
• Should you match with someone, you will receive 1 hour of VR to come back and play together on a date of your choosing!
