Love Is a Promise: adrienne maree brown and Alexis Pauline Gumbs live!

A celebration of two Durham-based authors, adrienne maree brown and Alexis Pauline Gumbs, on the eve of the release of their powerful new books: (AK Press) and (FSG). Longtime friends and collaborators Brown and Gumbs will read from their work, discuss how their creative practices inspire one another, and talk about the connections between their two new books. Moderated by author Prentis Hemphill.
