LOVE IN ACTION: A Galentine’s Abortion Care Package Workshop

Because nothing says Galentine’s like showing up for each other. ✨💕

Join Movement for Choice on February 18th at 6 PM at PLNTR (1825 18th St NW Washington, DC 20009) for an evening of music, meaningful conversation, and collective care in a stunning space generously donated by our dear friends at PLNTR. 🌿

Choosing abortion is an act of self-love in its highest form—it's about trusting ourselves to know what’s best for our bodies and futures. This Galentine’s, let’s put love into action by assembling abortion care packages for our community. Each kit will be filled with thoughtful essentials like menstrual pads, fuzzy socks, herbal tea, heating pads, self-care goodies, and handwritten notes of support. All packages will be donated to a local abortion provider to directly support those seeking care.

We’re also so grateful to be hosting this event at PLNTR, a locally-owned plant shop dedicated to connecting and uplifting the DC community. PLNTR’s ethos—Plants for the People—centers local advocacy, sustainability, and supporting small, mostly women-owned businesses in the DMV. Be sure to check them out and show them some love for opening their space to us! 🌱💚
