Love-Fi is making its Berlin debut to close out the summer in fashion!
Taking over the upstairs of Paloma, we've invited the superbe selector sucre sucre to accompany us during this whole night affair, alongside Love-Fi residents Miyra Lim & JP Bechamel.
sucre sucre is a DJ based between Berlin and Vienna. She grew up surrounded by classical music, soukous and reggae. With a background in musicology and singing, she equally has a soft spot for all things off-beat and easy-going. In her sets she feels most at home between genres such as wave, dub, krautrock and balearic. She recently has hosted a radio show at Callshop Radio and did mixes for airwaves such as Noods Radio, NTS, Radio80000, Mutant Radio and Kiosk Radio.
A multi-talented artist, Miyra Lim's journey over the past decade has been a rich blend of exploration and self-discovery. From dance performances to music production, she fearlessly ventures into diverse creative realms. Miyra's priority as a DJ is to create an authentic soundscape in which dancers can move freely. The sound is rooted in a deep appreciation for house music and its culture as well as jazz, hip hop and soul. Miyra is part of Love-Fi and Res.Radio.
Passionate selector, JP's sound is heavily influenced by the early Chicago, New York and Detroit dance music scene of the 80s and 90s. Growing up, JP discovered a strong connection to Jazz and the emotions it evoked. Chasing these feelings in the club, he finally felt at home experiencing underground house music for the first time. Well rooted in the viennese house community and club scene, find JP spreading the feeling as a resident of the collectives A Party called JACK and Love-Fi.
