About this Event
“Love at Any Age: Overcoming Dating Anxiety” is a class specifically designed for seniors who are venturing back into the dating world—sometimes after years or even decades away. Whether you’ve lost a partner, gone through a divorce, or simply taken a break from romantic pursuits, it’s completely normal to feel uncertain about putting yourself out there again. This class acknowledges the unique anxieties older adults face when it comes to modern dating, such as adjusting to new technologies or coping with concerns about self-image, physical changes, or finding a connection that fits this stage of life.
Participants will gain insights into common emotional challenges that arise when stepping back into the dating pool later in life, from fear of rejection to worries about compatibility. Guided discussions will highlight the importance of self-confidence, authenticity, and a willingness to learn new ways of meeting potential partners. Additionally, the class explores how to recognize and build on the life experience, wisdom, and emotional maturity that seniors bring to relationships—traits that can actually make late-life dating more fulfilling than ever before.
Through group activities, interactive exercises, and gentle coaching, “Love at Any Age: Overcoming Dating Anxiety” creates a supportive community of individuals facing similar obstacles and questions. Participants can share stories, learn communication strategies, and practice the skills needed to navigate dating apps, social events, and personal interactions with ease. By the end of the course, attendees will feel more confident, empowered, and excited about finding love again, equipped with practical tools to overcome anxiety and embrace meaningful connections.
