LOVATARAXX from Lyon is above all the accidental combination of synth/coldwave ceremony, drum machines stereotomics and televisions cathodic.Accompanied on stage by a video jockey striking randomly and without much warning,
LOVATARAXX offers sweets to strangers passed on the dance floor.The pieces follow one another, the transitions
lead us into effusions dreamlike, between steep climbs and descents without abseiling, but the trio
always accompanies their spleens with a sharp rhythm and a bass comforting chorus, ready to dominate your dancing feet.
One of our favorite shows of back in 2023, happy to bring this outstanding french act back to Vienna this year with their latest
fantastic record "Sophomore".

Jakob Henneken plays nervous synth-pop that makes noise look beautiful. Trivial-radical texts about rest stops, escalators and particulate matter. Fragmentary sounds between sound art and the avant-pop of the NDW.
Several tours through Germany and festivals such as Kampnagel Sommerfest, Off The Radar, Altonale and Papiripar. After releases on Storage Records and Felix Kubin's label Gagarin Records, the "Sünder und Sinnstifter" EP will soon be released.
