Louisville's 87th Annual Labor Day Parade 2023

Parade route

The parade will run south down Main Street. A full map of the parade route and road closures will be available closer to Labor Day.

Road closures

To allow for a safe parade and Fall Festival, multiple roads near Main Street, Louisville Middle School, and Memory Square Park will be closed from 7 AM to 3 PM on Monday, September 4.

Parade registration is now closed. If you missed registering for the 2023 parade, we hope you can join us in 2024.

March in the Labor Day Parade! Walking, biking, unicycling, driving, and horseback entries are welcome. Please decorate your vehicles and floats or wear something bright, showy, and fun. Please note that commercial entries are required to decorate - show your community spirit!

Now accepting applications for parade participants! Applications due by 5 PM on Monday, August 21. Late or day-of entries will not be accepted. The number of parade entries may be limited depending on the number received. Get your application in soon as it's first come, first served. 

Parade order and a reminder about Parade Participant FAQs and Safety Guidelines will be emailed the week before the parade.
