Back in-person for the first time in 3 years, The Louisville Solar Tour and EV Experience is brought to you by the Kentucky Solar Energy Society (KYSES) and EV advocates EvolveKY.Kicking off with a keynote sustainability policy address by Louisville mayoral candidate Craig Greenberg, there will be an initial 60 minute solar hot topic update before you are chauffeured via EV to up to 4 solar or solar+battery storage show homes.
Updates will include:
• Solar Over Louisville 2022 wins and 2023 discount solar plans
• Key solar technology and policy updates that impact you
• How to avoid solar scams and buy smart
• KYSES solar and EvolveKY growth projects for 2023
• Solar/Installer Q&A - the questions you have always wanted answered
At 11:00am after the meeting, EvolveKY members will be providing EV rides to up to 4 solar/battery homes in Louisville to hear directly from the homeowner about their journey to clean energy. Installers will also be present to answer technical, installation, and equipment questions. Tours will return to the University by 1:00-1:30pm.
