We’ll be exploring the world of fungi: their vital role in ecosystems, their historical significance, and how they continue to influence our lives today. With a focus on Louisiana’s native mushrooms, this event is designed to help you feel more confident and curious about the fungi in your own backyard!
Together we’ll learn the numerous ways incorporating mushrooms into our lives can support our health on an individual, community, and planetary level. Jordan will also have functional mushroom products for sale!
Big Poppa Eats food truck will be present and serving a mushroom-inspired menu. Come hungry!
Chafunkta Brewing is an all-ages brewery with community tables and laid-back atmosphere. Minors are allowed inside, however they are not allowed to sit at the bar.
