Sonny Landreth’s boundary-pushing career continues to evolve, with recent collaborations ranging from jamming with Oteil Burbridge and Johnny Vidacovich post–Jazz Fest to performing with Jake Shimabukuro at The Blue Note in Hawaii. These side projects reflect his love for musical surprises and creative chemistry.
A two-time Grammy nominee, Landreth tours with fellow slide guitarist Cindy Cashdollar and his own electric and acoustic trio. He’s a regular at Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Guitar Festival and has appeared on Shemekia Copeland’s Grammy-nominated Done Come Too Far. As Landreth puts it, stretching in new directions brings fresh perspective—and makes every show more memorable.
