Backstage – and Louis Loock is busy getting ready for a classical concert. The theatre is filled with suspense, as the audience is awaiting the sounds of one of South Africa’s most loved tenors. Whilst making ready, Louis shares his dreams, by telling stories about the characters that he would have loved to sing. Phantom, from Phantom of the Opera, Marius, From Les Miserables, Kind Herald, from Jesus Christ Superstar – and as he drifts away, the characters become alive on stage. He enters for the classical part of the show, and sings: Dein ist mein Ganzes Hertz, La Donna e Mobile, and the magical – Nessun Dorma. He then returns to his dressing room, where he gets lost in his dreams – the magical world of musical theatre!
