About this Event

The Loughborough Farm is hosting a fruit tree grafting workshop. This workshop will start at the Loughborough Farm with an introductory talk on why we graft. We will discuss the different types of rootstock which allow for various growing conditions, and dictate the size of the mature tree. This will be followed by a hands-on practical session before doing your own grafted apple tree to take home. Time permitting we will walk over to Wyck Forest Garden to look at established grafts. No previous experience needed. Just enthusiasm!
