It’s that time of the year again when AFMC transforms, spreading colors of joy in the air. Yes, it’s carnival time once more! And what would the carnival be without “Louder than Words,” the much-anticipated exhibition organized by the AFMC Photography Club?
And guess what? This year marks the ninth season of this vibrant celebration.
The Exhibition is scheduled to be held on 3rd November To 7th November ,2024 at AFMC premises.
So what are you all waiting for??? Send us your best photos and experience a wonderful time with us.

11 October, 2024; 11:59 pm
You have to submit photos within this deadline. No photos will be accepted after the declared deadline.
Our deadline will be strictly maintained.

We invite you to submit your photos following the outlines given below:
Category :
1. Landscape & Nature
2. Abstract & Architecture
3. Street Photography
4. Portraits
5. Wildlife & Macro Photography
6. Lifestyle Photography
Each category is divided in two sub-categories:
*Color
*Black and white
Each person can submit at most 3 photos per category.
Rules of Participation:
1) All the submitted Photographs must be "Clicked By Self", ANY KIND OF PLAGIARISM IS HIGHLY PROHIBITED.
2) Participant must be a Current or Ex-Cadet of Armed Forces Medical College
3) Each person can submit at most 3 photos per category.
4) All submissions must only be made through E-mail. Excessive Manipulated ( Except in Conceptual ) , over post processed, framed or copyright watermarked pictures are not allowed & will be disqualified.
5) Only minimal post processing such as color corrections, changing brightness, contrast , cropping etc are allowed.
6) Selected persons will be contacted by coordinators through sms/e-mail & list of selected photo will be published at the official facebook group of AFMCPC shortly after deadline of submission.

7) Photos that were already showed on the previous exhibition in AFMC will not be accepted.
8) Both current & ex-cadets can participate. Teachers if interested can submit photos. Only photos of current cadets are eligible for judgement & prizes.
9) Every participant must confirm their submission on the facebook event wall.
*Any photo without the confirmation on event wall will not be accepted.*
Confirmation should contain the followings:
- Participants name
- Batch
- MC no.
- Number of Photos sent
- Email Address
10 ) Please don’t forget to mention your Full Name , Batch and MC no while renaming your photos.

Procedures for Renaming Photos are as follows:
1. Renaming The Photos:
Each photo should follow this naming convention-
'Participants full name_batch_MC no._category_title_serial no of photo_mobile no.'
For example:
'Biplob_Biswas_22_1921_Landscape_Stagnant_01_+8801XXXXXXXXX'
***without proper renaming no photos will be accepted***
2. Resolution:
Must be in JPEG or JPG format and must be at least 3000 pixels on the longer side
(if you have any doubt regarding the resolution issue you can consult with your batch representative)
***Watermark is not allowed***

SPONSOR(S) :
The name of Sponsors will be announced later.
Photobook:
A Photobook will be published and date of publication will be announced latter.
T-shirts & Certificate :
A T- shirt & A certificate will be given to each participant.
JUDGING :
Judging will be conducted by our renowned photographer(s). And We will announce the Judges by Post on the event wall.
AWARDS:
Top 3 photos from each category will receive a medal & a certificate. Only current cadets are eligible for college authorized medals.

RIGHTS & PRIVILEGES :
Decisions made by AFMCPC is final. AFMCPC holds the right to make any change in the rules and regulations without any prior notice to the participants. Participants and volunteers will be notified on the AFMCPC Facebook group if any changes occur regarding schedule & structure of the event.
