A new show from the creator of the 5-star comedy Bert’s House (“Funny, witty and guaranteed to give you a laugh.” – “A masterclass of crossed-wires and comedy gold”).
Following a theatre-induced hiatus from stand-up, writer, actor and comedian Lou Chawner returns with a brand new (work in progress) show, Stories, Songs & Silver Linings (and Tw*ts).
Lou explores how to cope with the frustrations that everyday life throws at us. From dealing with health scares without catastrophising every little symptom, coping with the rage-inducing behaviour of bad flatmates, and surviving the unexpected (and unwanted) nonsense that life (and friends) can throw at us. This is an honest, open and joyous exploration of how to stay vaguely sane in a world that doesn’t always want you to.
Expect stories, songs, and a few questionable coping strategies along the way.
