LOT PARTY

Adults don't play enough AND it costs $80 just to leave the house nowadays. I want to throw us a party that taps into our collective inner child, is free to attend, and has a little something to offer everybody. Somewhere between a block party & a fair or perhaps just a lovely blend of both!
- Carnival games, yard games, & that paint wall from the Princess Diaries!
- Fish fry from our friends!
- A beer garden!
- Zine making & collaging
- Opportunities to learn about organizations doing cool stuff in the neighborhood
- Library card sign ups with the Bookmobile!!

I want us to come together and do something just for the fun of it-- to meet people, give them a good meal, a good drink, a fun time spent in a place that isn't home or work. A reminder that being together is how we get through It™.
Food and drinks will be for sale and the retail businesses of Art Portal will be open for shopping. But there is absolutely a world where folks can come out, have fun, and go home without having spent a dime. Isn't that nice?
