Lost Wax Jewelry Making

Join jewelry artist Natalie of Salayi Designs to create your own metal jewelry piece. Wax models are transformed into metal jewelry. Melt, model, cut, and texture wax to create a piece of jewelry which will be cast in your choice of sterling silver or bronze. Hosted by LIttle Green a Plant Bar- a plant shop in downtown Redwood City.

Cost: $75, plus the cost of your metal to be paid on the day. All wax and tools are included. Silver is $23/oz and bronze is $3/lb. The cost of your finished piece will depend on how big it is. You will weigh the wax models during the workshop to determine how much metal they will require. Unless you are making a very large or heavy piece, your metal costs will be under $25.

Please Note! You will not leave the night of the workshop with a finished piece. Your wax model will be transformed into metal through the lost wax casting process, and this takes time. You will be contacted when your piece is finished and ready to be collected, likely within 10-14 days from the workshop.
