Sophia Hembeck
Is a bilingual author and interdisciplinary artist living in Edinburgh. She studied playwriting & dramaturgy at the University of the Arts in Berlin and has released two essay collections in English (Things I Have Noticed & Things I Have Loved). On her Substack, The Muse Letter, she writes about the strangeness of life.
Steve Kettley
Steve Kettley is a musician, composer and occasional actor, who plays tenor and soprano saxophones, flute, jaw harp and percussion. He leads several bands playing his own music, such as the long-standing quartet Steve Kettley’s Odd Times, and is well known as a founder member of the international touring and recording group Salsa Celtica (1995 – 2013). Recently, Orange Claw Hammer, a quartet dedicated to interpreting the music of avant-rock legend Captain Beefheart, has been a major concern. A varied career as theatre composer and performer includes work with many leading companies, touring the UK and with residencies in New York and Baltimore USA. Since 2010 he has been promoting “Click Clack” , an outlet for creative original music of all genres. For the last few years Steve has been enjoying productive collaborations with former national poet (Makar) Liz Lochhead, and virtuoso harpist Savourna Stevenson. He lives in Edinburgh with his wife Jane and son Calum.

Georgia Bartlett McNeil
Lost in Leith - 1st Slam winner Known as the Queen of Imagery, her poems cover a range of topics, and can go from hilarious to hard-hitting in just a few well-chosen words. She's been performing across Scotland for the best part of a decade, including supporting Shane Koyczan in 2017 during his world tour.
Florrie Evans
From Gloucestershire she is a 23 year old writer and Alumni of Chicken-coop writing group which meets here at Lost in Leith. Having recently moved up to Edinburgh, she has been writing a lot more short prose and poetry. She takes inspiration from nature, people, grief and her own internal emotional landscape and about to start her masters in creative and life writing.
Elsie MacDonald
Elsie MacDonald is and anti-folk singer-songwriter who has been compared to both Billy Brag & Sinead O’Connor. They write sincere but tongue in cheek songs about the state of the world both personal and general. They have also been known to tutor guitar at Girls Rock School.
