Edinburgh based songwriter who composes melodic, dark and introspective folk/pop songs.

IONA LEE
Iona Lee is a writer, artist, music-maker, storyteller and spoken-word performer from Edinburgh, with a penchant for the arcane and uncanny. She has been a prominent member of Scotland's live poetry scene for the past ten years, appearing on radio and television and reading her work in venues and on festival stages all over the UK and Europe, including Glastonbury, the world slam championships in Paris, and the Edinburgh International Book Festival. In 2022, Iona won the John Byrne award for her poetry film, Away with the Fairies - a retelling of the Tam Lin ballad - and she appeared on Young Woman Scotland's 30 Under 30 list. Her debut poetry collection, Anamnesis, was shortlisted for the Edwin Morgan Poetry Award, and appeared on SNACK Magazine's top ten list of books published in Scotland in 2023.
CHARLIE ROY
Charlie Roy’s first novel, The Broken Pane, was received as "Debut of the Year” in the Publishing Scotland and Scots Whay Hae review of “Best books of 2021”. Charlie Roy participated in the Aye Write! Book Festival in Glasgow in 2022 and has been invited to speak at the Edinburgh International Book Festival 2022. Charlie Roy is a Scottish Book Trust Debut Lab Awardee.
Having performed her own work at the BBC Slam, the Edinburgh International Book Festival and Edinburgh Fringe Festival as well as appeared as the featured poet at several poetry events, Charlie can deliver events on a range of topics and aspects of writing and publication. She is jointly responsible for the running of Stewed Rhubarb Press, a small independent poetry publisher, a publicist for Tapsalteerie and a freelance writer. Charlie is formerly a Coastword Festival Committee member and a former programmer and host for the Edinburgh based poetry night Vespers, and has hosted several launches and showcases for Stewed Rhubarb. She is a founding member of the Scottish Poetry Library’s Writing Mother’s Poetry Group and led a Creative Writing Group in Ratho.
