About the Gallery

Lost in Bloom is a gallery that celebrates childlike wonder and the journey of turning dreams into reality. Inspired by childhood drawings, photographer Lindsay McOien reflects on the power and privilege of creating art.

Free Arts for Abused Children of Arizona is a nonprofit organization that delivers transformative arts programs to children who have faced abuse, neglect, and homelessness.

By partnering with Free Arts, the Lost In Bloom gallery supports children's creativity and art therapy, continuing the cycle of passion and purpose.

100% of the profits from the gallery’s print sales will be donated to support Free Arts!

Artist Backstory

"This year, I’m celebrating 5 years as a full-time freelancer! My journey from a child who loved all things artsy to a professional photographer has been as unexpected as it has been fulfilling. And through all of it, I truly cherish the privilege of doing what I love for a living.

When reflecting on my creative roots, my fascination with art stands out from an early age. One of my most vivid childhood memories is going outside and taking photos of flowers with the family camera and then drawing them afterward. Now, with photography as my everyday job, my goal is to reconnect with that youthful love for art as I continue defining myself as a creative.

Enter my passion project – an art gallery! This collection spans from childhood sketches to professional photography, embodying a heartfelt exploration of growth, passion, and collaboration. It’s a return to why I fell in love with the arts.

Recognizing the importance and healing power of art, this gallery serves a dual purpose, bringing people together and supporting the next generation. Partnering with Free Arts, all profits from print sales contribute to providing art therapy for children who have experienced trauma.

Lost in Bloom aims to showcase the artistic journey from childhood dreams to professional creativity, challenging societal judgments, and ensuring support for future artists, affirming that creativity is a genuine force for good."
