Lost Gas Stations of San Mateo County

Join authors Nick Veronico and Bruce Cumming as they discuss their new book, Lost Gas Stations of San Mateo County. Take a nostalgic look at the Peninsula’s auto history and discover the stories behind the vintage pumps, classic cars, and roadside culture that once fueled the Peninsula.

Nicholas A. Veronico is the author or coauthor of more than 45 books on art history, aviation, military history, and transportation subjects. Bruce C. Cummings served as police chief of Menlo Park and Morgan Hill. Together they have sourced many photographs to document how car culture on the Peninsula has changed.

This event will be in the Oak Room at the San Mateo Main Library. Tickets are not required nor accepted.
