A botanic garden under Waterloo Station, the Surrey Zoological Gardens in Southwark with its gothic edifices, craggy promontories and tortoise grotto, the Hippodrome Racecourse in Notting Hill, together with private gardens great and small are revealed in this delightful exhibition bringing to life long-forgotten green spaces in London.Dr Todd Longstaffe-Gowan, landscape architect and historian and guest curator of the exhibition will guide us around his fascinating exhibiton.
