LOST DOG SUNDAYS: NOTICE FLOWER and RUINED JACKETS

Lost Dog Sundays returns this month with a very special double bill of new duo projects from some of our favourite local artists.

NOTICE FLOWER is a collaborative endeavour from prolific multi-instrumentalists Jen Yakamovich and Bahar Khazei, whose combined practices span the fields of improvisation, sound art, field recording, production, composition, bandleading, curation, ecological research and community organizing.

RUINED JACKETS is the meeting place of two rising stars in the jazz and improvised music communities, saxophonist/composer Ruthie Ha and trumpeter Jack Lee.

At The Hargrove, 150 East 3rd Ave - enter through the alley.

Doors at 7:30pm, music at 8pm

Curated tape cassette listening and hang will take place prior to downbeat and following the conclusion of the performances, as well as in the interstitial period. Appropriately, two beloved duo recordings will be featured for this evening: The Giving Shapes' 2023 sophomore release "Earth Rings Like A Bell" and "Strung Out" from Amsterdam's Jasper Stadhouders and Aaron Lumley.
